History & Company Overview
Since its founding in 1870 by Louis C. Graeter, Graeter's French Pot Ice Cream, handmade chocolate confections and fresh baked goods have become traditions in the Queen City. Today the Graeter family still faithfully uses his century old recipes and methods of production.
In the mid 1800s, the Graeter family emigrated from Bavaria eventually settling in Cincinnati, Ohio. While just a teenager, Louis Charles Graeter began making ice cream in a market at the base of Sycamore Hill. In the age before mechanized freezers, ice cream was a rare treat and had to be made in very small batches using rock salt and ice to freeze the cream.
Today, the fourth generation of the Graeter family runs the company and they still make French Pot ice cream just the way the founder did in 1870, two gallons at a time. With retail stores in Ohio and Kentucky and grocery store distribution around the country, Graeter's fans can find lots of ways to enjoy the world's best ice cream!
Ice Cream for Pittsburgh Foodies & Healthy Living Enthusiasts The French pot process Graeter’s uses to create its ice cream is truly craft. Greater’s uses only premium, hand-selected ingredients including fresh black raspberries and Madagascar bourbon vanilla beans. Grater’s sources its cream from farms that use 100 percent pure cane sugar and pledge not to use artificial growth hormones.

it look so good. and delicious!
The Black cherry sounds good to me! And just by looking at it, I could tell it's simply delicious! I'm going to check this at the nearby grocery store. Thanks for sharing this product mommy...
Ayayay! This is the very ice cream that made me drool at Facebook the first time I saw it! Looking so yummy and rich! I want to try them out; I wish I'll be given the chance! I have heard that Graeter's is the best ice cream there is!

I've read a lot of raves about this ice cream and would like to try it too. Not sure if I can find it in the stores here in our area :-)
These are good brand of ice cream. It's been awhile since we had ice cream, I should get some for the kids. Your kids and their dads have in common then for being an ice cream lover :D

I don't think I have tried their product before although I saw some at Walmart one time. I would love to try some next time. I have tried other brands, but not this. Looks like the little princess enjoyed it. :)
